The quality, reputation, price, or offerings of a product or service all play a key part. But what about when those factors are similar? Who do we choose then?
We choose who we resonate most with and who can show us – and make us feel – the excitement, hope, and possibility of where we want to go and who we want to be.
SOUL OVER MATTER
So strong are these feelings in us that even when the “logical” cards are stacked in another direction, we will still choose the one we resonate the strongest with, even if we have to rationalize (sometimes a lot!) to do it.
It’s like the classic scenario of buying a new car. We start out determined to stick to our practical check list, but if we find a car that stirs our soul (and maybe match up to enough of that check list to keep our logical mind from blowing a gasket), it’s a done deal long before any paperwork appears on the scene. It already had us at “hello”.
On the other side of the coin, how often have you denied what your gut instinct told you, opting instead for the fully logical decision only to lament later, “I should’ve trusted my gut! It was right all along!” We resolve to remember this lesson next time we’re torn on a decision. Why? Because…

Our logical mind can fool us, but our gut never lies. It is our gut instinct that is brilliant at assessing vibration and resonance in a heartbeat. Our logical mind can’t even come close in this department. Enter the Law of Attraction. This is language of the instinctual self.
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
The Law of Attraction is based on the knowledge of one of the most basic laws of the universe:
like energy attracts like.
Each thought we think carries a vibration, a resonance, that ripples out into the universe. The more emotion we infuse into our thoughts – be it positive or negative – the more power our thoughts have. The more creative juice we are putting toward manifesting more of the same.
Resonate with love, we attract love. Resonate with anger and frustration, and we attract more situations that can recreate those feelings of anger and frustration. Resonate with possibility and abundance? More great ideas and circumstances that will support our abundance and positive experience find their way into our awareness and into our lives. It’s all up to us!
Just as this is true for us, it’s also true for our business. Whether big or small, our businesses and brands are an extension of the people behind them and the fine folks who carry them forward day to day.
Have you ever had the experience of talking to customer service rep or someone on a help line that went above and beyond and knocked a solution to a problem you were having so out of the park you almost had tears in your eyes? You likely left the encounter with a feeling like, “Dang! I just LOVE this company!!”. The odds you’ll be back and recommend them are high.
Conversely, bring to mind the last time dealt with someone who clearly was not happy in their job. Not a good feeling, amiright? Do you think you’re going to be excited to go back there again? Not likely. It is our nature to gravitate to the feelings and vibes that we want to feel again.
Now, let’s bring this home to your branding.
WHY CREATING BRAND RESONANCE IS KEY
Because we humans are naturally attracted to the vibrations we want to feel more of, it is imperative that we as business owners and entrepreneurs resonate from a deeply authentic place when we are communicating anything about our business. When we send out positive signals that are true to our core, whether through our offerings, mission, customer service, media, marketing, or design (to name just a few) we are strengthening the magnetic pull that will resonate with the people we are best tuned to serve.
Whether you are a big corporation or a solo-preneur, demonstrating your authentic brand consistently wins loyal fans, followers and clients. Authenticity and personal connection fuel loyalty. This is a given. However, when you can tap into that deeper resonance beyond the logical mind, and then communicate it effectively on all fronts, your message has more power because there is now emotion consciously connected to it.
When you express your authenticity and the vibration of your business vision, your brand exudes a vibe that will naturally resonate with clients that want to go where you are going. They want to go where you can take them. These are your ideal clients. They are tuned into the frequency you’re emitting, just like a radio station emits it’s signal. This alignment is at the heart of Brand Resonance.

When you have brand resonance, your words flow more easily, your marketing is more clear, your offerings are spot on and your message speaks right to your ideal clients because your brand is already speaking volumes for you. It’s already doing the heavy lifting for you.
